Why that front plate, though?

I have to say, I’m confused about this car. It has to be a 2017, because its a Sport Trim, and they only offered that in 2017. But, most of the time, I see fake euro spec license plates on used out-of-state cars. Considering this is most likely a PA Registered car, Ill take the gamble that this was a used car from either NY, NJ, Ohio, or Maryland. Hell, the only other state in the North East that doesn’t have front license plates is Delaware.

One of my favorite things about Pennsylvania.

Hilarious! I own one (zee Autobahn trim) and it has the customizable driving modes. I turn everything on “sport” except the Soundkator - which you can turn off, yea! And I have the manual. Which is good, but if I had to do it all over again, I would buy the DSG (darn DC traffic).

Could’ve been bought new from a neighboring state with the bumper already being drilled?

I commute from Baltimore to exit 2 off 295 every day and back, and I’m wondering if I could survive with a manual. I DD’d a Cherokee with a stick in the same traffic for 7 years.

My brother just bought one of these last week. He lives in Baltimore and drives about 20k/year, which around there is just “going to work, going to hang out with friends.” No roadtrips.

DSG was a no-brainer for him.

Yeah, both of my last 2 cars were originally MD and I have the drill holes to prove it. At least a Europlate covers the damage pretty well.

DSG for sure. I’ve been in that Baltimore traffic - it’s baaaaad. I have days when I want to drive straight to the VW dealer without passing Go, and trade mine in for a DSG.

Um, you mean Torx? I’ll take those over Phillips-head any day.

Eastern PA resident here. Our state doesn’t require front license plates, and it has become very popular in this area for German car enthusiasts to put a euro plate on the front of their VW, Audi, etc. As for why? They probably just think it looks cool.
